RAW Rating, Edge Reveals Why He's Taking Time Off

— According to Jim Ross’ official website (JrsBarBQ.com), this week’s edition of WWE Raw drew a 3.1 cable rating – the same as last week’s show. Ross noted that the show drew 4.5 million viewers and peaked with a 3.7 rating for the overrun that featured Triple H and Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho and Lance Cade.

— In a recent radio interview with BetweentheRopes.com, Edge said his current hiatus from WWE is not due to an injury. “I needed to kind of just get a break and kind of step back from the 120 mile per hour pace and lifestyle for a little bit,” he said. “I actually asked for it. Nobody has to force me to take time off. “I’m at the point now where I think here and there it’s a good idea… I don’t want to get burned out on it. I don’t want to just call it in. I never want to get to that point, not that I was, but I was getting tired.”
